Sticky Helper for IE

Note: This userscript has been superceded by StumbleUpon Sticky Helper, which does not work in Internet Explorer. This version will remain available, but I strongly recommend using the new userscript unless you are using IE.

This is a GreaseMonkey script that helps stumblers to maintain a "sticky post" on their blog. Normally when you edit the post, you must uncheck "Don’t change the date" and then click Submit. With this script installed you only have to click Edit. After you install the script you must specify the edit URL for your sticky thread. e.g. "http://thlayli.stumbleupon.com/edit/3129308/". To get this link you must right-click on the Edit link above your sticky post and select "Copy Link Location." Once you’ve copied the link, follow the instructions below for your browser. Greasemonkey for Firefox: Go to Manage User Scripts and select "Sticky Helper." Edit the "Included Pages" item and paste in your edit URL. Turnabout Advanced for Internet Explorer: Go to Turnabout Options and select "Helps maintain a sticky thread on SU." Edit the "Applies to these sites" item and paste in your edit URL.

Tip: You can bookmark the edit URL and then all you have to do to bring the sticky thread to the top is click that bookmark.

To install this script, right click here and select "Install User Script."
